Chicken Crockpot Recipe
Chicken thighs or drumsticks cooked slowly in a mixture of vegetables and stock.
Ingredients:
1 ¼ lbs/ 550 g Skinless chicken thighs or drumsticks
4 -5 Medium potatoes, cut bite size
4 medium carrots, cut bite size
1 large chopped onion
2 cups hot water
1 tbsp chicken stock powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
¼ tsp thyme
½ tsp liquid gravy browner
Method:
Place layers of potato, carrots, and onion in slow cooker. Place chicken thighs on top of vegetables.
Stir remaining ingredients together in bowl. Pour over chicken. Cover, cook on Low for 9-10 hours or on High for 4 ½ - 5 hours in a crockpot/ slow cooker.
