Blueberry cake

Blueberries, cinnamon and brown sugar all combine in this slow cooker recipe to produce a great tasting cake.

¼ cup butter or margarine
¼ cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
¼ cup milk
1 pint blueberries, rinsed and drained
¼ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup flour
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ cup butter or margarine

Cream butter and ¼ cup sugar; beat in egg. Mix flour and baking powder; add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Turn into a greased and floured cooker bake pan.
Sprinkle berries over batter and sprinkle them with ¼ cup sugar. Mix brown sugar, ½ cup flour, cinnamon, and butter. Spoon over fruit. Put lid on bake pan, and set in slow cooker. Cover and cook on High 3 – 4 hours. Serve warm with cream and or ice cream.
